What we collect, why we collect it, who helps us run the service, and the choices you have.

The short version
We collect what we need to run your account and make your ads, and nothing more. We don't sell your information and we don't use it for advertising profiles.
What we collect
- Account details: your first name and email address.
- Your projects: what you type into the studio, the song ideas, lyrics, plans and ad text written for you, and the songs, images and clips you upload or make.
- Plan and credit records: your plan, your credit balance and credit history, and plan or top-up requests you send.
- Messages you send us through the contact form or by email.
- Basic visit counts: which pages are visited, the site that sent the visit and the device type. This is counted without cookies, and we don't store your IP address.
How we use it
- To sign you in, save your projects and show them on any device.
- To write and build your song ads.
- To manage your plan and credits, and to email you receipts and account notices.
- To answer your messages and keep the site safe from abuse.
- To understand, in total numbers, how people find and use the site so we can improve it.
Who helps us
We use trusted service providers to host the site, store files, send email, run the writing and media tools inside the studio, and take payments. They process information only to provide their service to us and are required to protect it. A secure payment partner handles card details; we never see or store your full card number.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and projects while your account is open. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your projects and files and remove your personal details, keeping only the billing records the law requires us to keep. Sign-in codes expire after 10 minutes and are stored only as a scrambled value.
Your choices and rights
- See and download your projects at any time in the studio.
- Ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it, or to delete it. See the Data deletion policy.
- Depending on where you live, you may have more rights, such as objecting to certain uses. Contact us and we'll help.
Children
Video Song Ads is for businesses and adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
